Las Vegas shooting: Death toll increases to 50, over 200 injured

Briefing the media, Las Vegas police said that at least 50 were killed and 200 others injured at a mass shooting during an open-air country music festival in Las Vegas.

“The shooter was local,” the police added.

So far, the incident has not been called a terrorist attack. The police currently believe that the gunman acted alone, and while the motives of the perpetrator is under investigation.

However, the police said that they are searching for two vehicles (Hyundai Tucson Nevada/114B40 and a Chrysler Pacifica Nevada/79D401) associated with the shooter.

The police are also looking for the gunman’s companion, a woman with an Asian appearance known as Marilou Danley for questioning.
